Challenge 4/26 at ISC

These are the cards made from the ATC challenge. For the ATC's alone.....scroll down.

Challenge 4/26 at ISC

This weeks challenge hostess is Patti and she challenged us to make an ATC. I have never done this before, but was willing to give it a try. Here are the 3 ATC's. I don't really care for how the purple one turned out, which is crazy because purple is my favorite color. I then put them on cards as I had the stuff out already (not to mention I would probably misplace them). TFL!! Thanks for the challenge Patti! I had fun.

SU "Hang in There" Set (last image)

I can only upload 5 images per post:( This is the last stamp in that set.

SU "Hang in There" Set

I recently purchased this set on ebay. I love it!!!! It's a retired set from 2002. The stamps are great! The "dessert" one can easily be made into a birthday stamp, and the kitty can be used for anything. I have been wanting an encouragement set for awhile, and when I stumbled across this I just had to have it. TFL!!

Altered Dominoes

I've recently become addicted to altering dominoes!!! They are a ton of fun to do........and easy!! Here are some of my creations. TFL

ISC Weekly Challenges

Well, the weekly challenges are back in full swing. This week Christy challenged us to make an "interactive" card. I really like making the waterfall cards and it's getting easier with each one. The stamps are Technique Tuesday "Bugs" and I used SU markers to color everything in. On the inside it says .......you're you!!! I chose a font on the computer and printe the words on the final "flap" and on the inside. TFL!!

Sympathy Cards

Well, unfortunately I was out of Sympathy cards. My mom is visiting in May and we always have the girls over for a carft day. It is a tradition to make a couple of cards while they are here. Anyway...........I am going to have them each make a Sympathy card to have on hand. This is the layout, color scheme etc I am choosing. They will have the choice of which stamp to use and how to color it. TFL

Congrats Cards

I needed a couple graduation cards, and decided to make four for good measure. The "green" one is for a college graduation and I used the College Symbol on the card, just cut it out with one of my nesties. The "orange and black" one is for a co-worker's daughter who graduates from High School. These are the school colors. The "tan" one is extra.....just incase I need one, seems more suited for a guy. The "red, black and white" one I actually left blank on the inside......I thought it would also make a nice wedding card!!! Always nice to have something on hand when you need it!!! TFL

I got a new HM stamp today!!!!! "Maxwell's Pet" is the name and it is too darn cute!!! Here are a couple of cards that just HAD to be made. I actually used some older pp that has been staring me in the face for some time......yea me!!!

Stamping on Birch Bark

This weekend DH and I took a walk in the woods and I was collecting fallen Birch Bark like a mad woman!!!! I was just so sure I could do something with it. When we got home, I got creative!!! I stamped this image with Staz-On then colored in with SU markers. I think it turned out really nice. TFL!!

Bleach Stamping

I found this technique at SCS. It has been on my list of things to try this year. It wasn't too hard to do, but it is quite different than using ink. There is a bit of a learning curve to getting the right amount of bleach on the stamp (cuz ya can't see how much is there), and the amount of pressure you need to use. I'm sure it is one of those things that gets easier with practice. The burgundy paper is stamped with bleach and the cream paper is stamped with a SU marker. TFL!!

You don't even need to use this particular stamp set.
