I visited a wonderful blog recently, and Tammy has some great tutorials on her blog. She is extremely talented!! Please visit her blog, Create, Dream and Share, sometime and see it for yourself. Anyway, her blog is where I found tutorials on how to make those cute Top Note characters that I see all over the place. When you get there, scroll down to the very bottom and choos the word "tutorials". This will make it easier to find these cute Top Note characters. I tried my hand at them today, and I am very pleased with the results!!! I didn't have all the punches that she has, so I improvised. TFL!!!

More Thanksgiving/Fall Cards
I made a few more seasonal cards!!!!
The first one is made from a SU set that I just love......"autumn" is part of an unknown set. I used SU inks and aqua painters. I decided to use pop dots on the squash and leaf just to add some dimention.
The second one is a bit plain for me, but it works. The green paper that is cut into the Top Note is actually shimmery and does look nice in real life. The enjoy stamp is SU. I used MS gold ink on the leaves and it does add some shimmer.
The third card actually turned out very masculine. I had the rub on in my stash, and have just never gotten around to using it. The orange paper is shimmery and looks real nice. All the colors look as tho they came in a card kit, but didn't.
The fourth card is made from one of my favorite stamps. It's just one of those clear $1 stamps. I love the way it colors up. I used SU inks and aqua painters for it. I really like that watercolor effect. I purchased the straw paper from JA and thought it worked perfectly with this stamp.
TFL!!!

Congrats Cards
I needed a couple graduation cards, and decided to make four for good measure. The "green" one is for a college graduation and I used the College Symbol on the card, just cut it out with one of my nesties. The "orange and black" one is for a co-worker's daughter who graduates from High School. These are the school colors. The "tan" one is extra.....just incase I need one, seems more suited for a guy. The "red, black and white" one I actually left blank on the inside......I thought it would also make a nice wedding card!!! Always nice to have something on hand when you need it!!! TFL

The Easter Bunny Came!!!
Well, kind of anyway!!! I made these for my friends at work and the neighbor girl. I think they are awesome!!! This is something you can do anytime and for anyone. You don't even need to use this particular stamp set. Materials used: cellophane candy bags 4"x6" (Walmart, Michael's); Top Note die cut by Sizzix; Yummy stamp set from SU; SU markers; April stamp set from Hero Arts. TFL!!!
