This Month's SU Projects

Sucker holder. This would be great for a child's school party and could be converted to any holiday. I'm not sure where my SU demo found this idea. If you are interested, leave a comment and I can give a more detailed description.

For this card, we did something a little different. We used a slot punch (not sure if this is the right name) so the front of the card tucks into the back of the card. If you look really close, you can see this in the image near the bottom. There is a tutorial for the flower over at.......yup, you guessed it........SCS.

I was hostess for our SU gathering this month. We had alot of fun with great projects and delicious food. We made four projects, each one was alot of fun to make and they all turned out great. TFL!!

Stamping 411 Sketch 128

Well, I used a very loose interpretation of the sketch this week. I used an olive green cardstock for the base, patterned paper that resembles wood, and the white core burnt orange cardstock that I ran thru my CB and sanded. The black is actually some ribbon scrap. I turned the sketch on it's side for something different. The image is from SU and is watercolored on watercolor paper. TFL!!

Swap Cards

I also joined a black, white with a splash of color card swap. I used the Branch Out set from SU!! I reallly like the results.........clean and sharp!

Thank You Cards

My friend cleaned me out of thank you cards!!! She said she only needed one, but when I brought in two thank you's and three blank ones.......................she bought all five!!!! Yea me!!!! Anyway, I needed to make more so I had some on hand. Here they are. I used In The Garden set from SU. I'll say it again.......I love this set. I used my SU markers and a blender pen to color the images. I love the way that technique makes things look........soft and warm. TFL!!!

In the Garden

I finally got a chance to play with my new SU set "In the Garden"!!!! I had way too much fun. I had to force myself to stop. Anyway, I hope some of you are able to purchase this set for yourself. It can be used for just about any occasion. I needed some thank you cards, so that's what they are for. TFL!!

Maxwell's Pet

I got a new HM stamp today!!!!! "Maxwell's Pet" is the name and it is too darn cute!!! Here are a couple of cards that just HAD to be made. I actually used some older pp that has been staring me in the face for some time......yea me!!!

Baby Shower Thank You's

My sister in law is pregnant and these are thank you cards for her to send out. I will be giving them to her as her part of the game prizes in the post below. A dear friend of mine was generous enough to stamp these adorable House Mouse images for me so I didn't have to buy a stamp. If I have enough time and supplies after making the 30+ invitations for the party, I will make her 6 more for an even dozen. TFL!
