Ok, I have made an executive decision in regards to challenge hostesses and our weekly challenges. We are putting dgsbearsmom's (Judy) challenge on hold. She knows thus far who has participated and will hang on to the list. I feel it best if we just put all of these on hold for a bit. Is everyone ok with giving it until April 12 until we start them back up??? That will hopefully give us some time to get everyone here an hopefully someone will figure out how to upload to the g (I've had no luck). This will also give me time to figure out what the best way to resume the challenges is. Right now I am thinking that it would be best to pick back up with Judy's and go down the list from there. Which would mean:
Judy 4/12
Chrisy 4/19
antme 4/26
dokis 5/3
BeachBum 5/10
weedsgalore 5/17
If anyone has any other suggestions, I am totally open to them. I want everyone to have the same shot to host as well as participate. If things aren't any better by 4/12 then we will re-evaluate and go from there. I would really appreciate it if you could respond with either an "I agree" or "I disagree" so that I can get a feel for what everyone is thinking. TIA
Oh, I will post this on all 3 boards, but you can email me with your response too.

Thinking of Summer
Oh how sick to death I am of winter. I wanted to put my brain in summer mode for just a bit. I crafted some cards while I was in this state of mind. I absolutely love the ant stamp!!! I can't get enough of it. The red and white paper reminds me of a tablecloth you would put out for a picnic/cookout. TFL!!

Weekly Challenge for March 22
Here is my challenge card for Judy's challenge this week over at Creating Keepsakes. The challenge was to make a card from a souce of inspiration other than another card i.e. a piece of clothing, a flower etc. I was inspired by a ring left by a cup of coffee on the kitchen counter. I used SU markers to color in the image, nesties petite scalloped small circles, ribbon, the swirls embossing folder in my CB, white craft ink from SU, and primas. I don't know the names of the stamps..sorry.

Brighten Someone's Day
I am have challenged the gals on the MB's I visit to a challenge. Here it is:
I think everyone might need a little pick me up today. So, GET OUT THOSE PRIMAS AND CHEERFUL PAPERS!!!!! Hurry!!!! I challenge you over the next few days to make at least 3 cards and send them to 3 friends. They can be friends here, on other MB's or other friends you know. Let's jump into spring, shake off those wither blues and CRAFT!!! If you don't have Primas........get out those flower stamps, flower papers, brads, eyelets........whatever you have. Not only will you brighten the day of the person you are sending it to.........being around cheerful things helps you as well. I think it would be great if we all posted in the g or on our blogs and brought some sunshine here. The prize for this challenge is knowing that you brought a smile to someone's day. Now..........GET READY........GET SET....................CRAFT!!! Oh, almost forgot........turn on some music in your area.....the fun stuff. You know, the kind that makes you want to belt out the words!!!!! The more you act like a dip-stick, the better you feel. You may even feel compelled to get up and shake it!!!! Hugs to all of you!!!
Feel free to participate in my challenge and leave a link to this challenge on your blog. I think we could all use a little more happiness in our lives.
Here are my cards for the challenge. They are actually alot brighter in real life. TFL

Sympathy Cards
We all hate to make these, but unfortunately they are a part of life. I always try to keep a couple on hand for when I need them. In the past, I have used a butterfly image. I just got this set, and thought this flower worked well. The flower is from Inkadinkado: Doodle Flowers (these are clear stamps); the sentiment is from Impression Obsession: Sympathy Sentiments (these are clear stamps). The sentiments set is a wonderful set of stamps, it has 4 stamps for the inside of the card and 3 for the outside. They are a very appropriate set for this type of card. TFL.

Birthday Cards
I made a masculine card and a feminine card with my new SU stamp sets. I received the beautiful dragonfly bling from my good friend Gayle!!
I'm not sure about the bird on the masculine one.....no matter what way I stamped it, it looked wrong. I guess I'll just have to practice. I was inspired by the SU catalog for this card.
The more feminine one was a bit outside the box for me. I don't think I have ever stamped images for my own pp and THEN ran them thru the CuttleBug. Also, I usually tend to put the ribbon closer to the sides of the cards. I must admit tho........I goofed up on the "congratulations" stamped image and then just covered it up with the same image on top of pop dots. I got this set for free from the Sale a Bration catalog!!! I really like it, very versitile!!! TFL!!
